Security is considered throughout PrintAI's application architecture, development practices, and operational processes. We aim to apply reasonable safeguards at each layer of the platform so that protection is built into the service rather than added after the fact.
This overview describes, at a high level, the security approach behind PrintAI. It is intended to help customers understand how we approach protection of customer information and platform operations. It is not a substitute for the PrintAI Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, and it does not create additional legal obligations.
PrintAI is delivered as a cloud-based platform. The platform is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure, which allows us to benefit from the provider's underlying physical and network safeguards while applying our own application-level controls.
We do not make specific claims about data residency, availability guarantees, or infrastructure certifications on this page. Where such details are relevant to your evaluation, please contact us using the Security Contact section below.
PrintAI applies authentication and authorization controls to help ensure that only authorized users can access the platform and that each user can perform only the actions appropriate to their role. Controls include:
Customers are responsible for managing their own Authorized Users, assigning appropriate roles, and protecting their credentials. You should promptly revoke access for individuals who no longer require it.
We use appropriate technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards intended to protect customer information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. These safeguards are reviewed and updated as the platform evolves.
We do not represent that any system is completely secure or breach-proof. No security measure can guarantee absolute protection, and we do not claim guaranteed security. This page describes our approach, not a warranty of outcomes.
Payment information is handled through the applicable third-party payment provider. Where provider tokenization is used, PrintAI does not directly store complete raw card information. We retain only tokenized identifiers and related billing references necessary to administer your subscription.
The payment provider's own security practices and certifications govern the handling of payment-card data on their platform. The specific payment provider and arrangements are [TO BE CONFIRMED].
PrintAI applies a range of application-level security controls. At a high level, implemented controls include:
Internal code review and security verification activities are part of our development process. They are not represented as independent third-party certification.
PrintAI includes AI-assisted features designed to support operational and business decisions. We apply a controlled approach to AI-assisted decision support so that AI outputs support, rather than replace, responsible human judgment. This includes:
AI outputs are decision-support tools and may contain errors or incomplete information. They are not infallible. Customers remain responsible for final pricing, production, financial, safety, and operational decisions, and should apply appropriate human review as described in the PrintAI Terms of Service.
Customers retain ownership and control of their business data. PrintAI processes Customer Content to provide the service in accordance with applicable agreements and our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of customer production or business data.
Customer Content is treated as confidential information as described in the PrintAI Terms of Service, and we process it only as necessary to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the platform.
Security is an ongoing process. Safeguards and controls continue to be reviewed and refined as PrintAI evolves, as features change, and as new considerations emerge. We treat security as a continuous practice rather than a one-time state.
Suspected security and privacy incidents are investigated. Where an incident is confirmed, we undertake appropriate containment and remediation steps and, where required by applicable law, provide legally required notifications or reports.
For security reasons, we do not disclose internal incident response procedures, specific tools, or detailed processes on this page.
